Ice Cream Socials

Every Saturday evening we have an ice cream social where you can put your own toppings on a generous helping of ice cream. We do this each Saturday from late June through August and Memorial Day Weekend and Columbus Day Weekend.

Special Event Weekends
Patriotic Decorating Contest

Friday, July 4th - Decorate your site/rig in a patriotic theme and win a prize. Activities for the kids on Saturday afternoon.

Christmas In July

Saturday, July 19th - Decorate your site and/or Rig in a Christmas theme and win prizes. Bring the kid's cuz' Santa Claus visits us on Saturday. Kids activities on Saturday afternoon and candy from Santa for the kids, young and old!

Halloween Weekend

Saturday, August 9th - Decorate your site and/or Rig for Halloween and win prizes. Visit our haunted house, which gets scarier and scarier every year. Bring your favorite costume. Kids activities on Saturday afternoon and haunted house in the evening.

Chicken Barbecue

Saturday, August 23rd - Combination Potluck and Chicken Barbecue. We acquire and cook the chicken, you bring the salads and desserts. Make reservations (so we can have enough chicken) pay a minimal fee and enjoy a social dinner and fellow campers.

5th Annual Cook-Off

Saturday, September 20th - Cook-up your favorite campground meal and present it on your site to fellow campers. Then go around the campground and sample everybody else's entries - vote and get stuffed in the process. Last years winning entry was a red wine beef stew with fresh bread, along with some home made German beer, MMMMM! The table was set-up to resemble a bistro. Great fun and you can be crowned "Chef Of The Day"!
